Cleaner Commutes for King County

Cleaner Commutes for King County

Cleaner transportation. Healthier communities. Greater access.

The Cleaner Commutes for King County project is a community-informed initiative led by the Somali Independent Business Alliance (SIBA) to reduce air pollution and expand access to cleaner transportation options across West King County.

Through this project, SIBA is providing electric bikes to eligible community members while helping residents learn about clean transportation, air quality, and sustainable commuting options. The project focuses on communities disproportionately affected by air pollution, including areas designated by the Washington State Department of Ecology as overburdened communities.
