SIBA and Seattle Labor Standards

Empowering Small Businesses Through Labor Standards Education

The Somali Independent Business Alliance (SIBA), in partnership with the Seattle Office of Labor Standards (OLS), is working to ensure small businesses—especially those led by immigrant, refugee, and BIPOC communities—understand and comply with Seattle’s labor laws.
Through the Business Outreach and Education Fund (BOEF), we offer free multilingual support, one-on-one technical assistance, community workshops, and culturally relevant outreach to help small businesses thrive while staying compliant.
Whether you’re just getting started or looking to strengthen your business practices, SIBA is here to support you.
