Free Small Business Support Sessions in Tukwila Practical, one-on-one support for small businesses SIBA, in partnership with the Washington Small Business Development Center (SBDC), is providing free small business support sessions for businesses in the Tukwila International Boulevard area, including businesses in and around Juba Mall and Medina Mall. These sessions are designed to give business owners a place to ask questions, get practical assistance, and connect with resources that can help them start, strengthen, and grow their businesses. How We Can Help Business Setup & Registration Get help navigating UBI, EIN, UEI, licensing, business registration, and business banking as you start or formalize your business. Financial & Business Planning Receive support with business plans, strategic and growth planning, Profit & Loss statements, financial projections, and identifying useful business resources. Marketing & Online Presence Improve how customers find and connect with your business. Support can include Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X setup, initial social media content, Google Business Profile/Google Maps, websites, branding, flyers, and other digital marketing tools. Grants & Funding Learn about grant opportunities, grant application requirements, grant writing, and resources available to small businesses. Businesses seeking financing can also receive support preparing a lender-ready loan package. Clean Transportation & Electric Vehicle Funding Truck drivers and businesses using diesel vehicles or equipment can learn about Department of Ecology funding opportunities designed to reduce diesel emissions. SIBA can provide eligibility and application support and help businesses explore opportunities to transition from diesel to electric trucks/equipment or pursue eligible electric conversions. Referrals & Continued Support When a business needs assistance beyond what can be provided during the session, SIBA and Washington SBDC can help connect the business with appropriate agencies, programs, technical resources, and other support organizations.
